Stuff You Don’t Want To Miss

Now that my office computer is back up and running, the sermon videos will be appearing once again. Hopefully one will be up later today with more to follow.

Don’t forget, if you’re local to Greer, come to Riverside Baptist Church tonight as I am kicking off a study through the book of Revelation. Taught in a class format, we will be going through every verse of this often misunderstood epistle and you will have the opportunity to ask questions as we go. I’ve never done the book of Revelation in an interactive format like this, so I am excited about the opportunities to discuss it with you. The class starts at 7:00 p.m. in the worship center. Bring the whole family, because we also have our mid-week Youth Worship and Children’s Choir going on as well. For your little ones under the age of 4, nursery is provided.

This Sunday I am starting a new series entitled “The Heart Of Christianity”. Each sermon is based on a question dealing with basic truths of Christianity. This Sunday, January 9th, the title is “Who Is God, and How Does Jesus Fit In?”. Sunday morning service starts at 10:30, but come on at 9:15 and sit in on one of our Bible Study classes. We have a class for all ages, and nursery for the little ones. DVDs are available of any sermon, so just contact the church office at (864) 879-4400 if you would like a copy.

Sunday nights will feature another new class, this one based on a book written by blog contributor Jim Groth, entitled “Living in Freedom”. Each Sunday night Jim and I will be team-teaching on the liberating effect grace has on our lives as followers of Christ. Materials will be provided for attendees, and it will also be an interactive setting. This class will also be held in the worship center. Once again, there is something for all ages, including CrossRoad Adventures for children, Youth Fellowship, and nursery.

If you are interested or have any questions, feel free to email me at marcus@rbcgreer.com I hope to see you there!
